This skibike is one of the latest versions developed in 2004. The most distinctive aspect about this skibike is that it is constructed entirely from thin-walled tubular steel. The steering column and upper frame are 1-1/4" diameter steel tubing while the rest of the frame is made from 3/4" tubing. The curved steering column is integrated smoothly with the now common "leading link with coil-over" damped front shock. The seat is fixed on the upper part of the frame and suspended over the shock cushioned swingarm on the rear ski.
|The skis are bolted to swivel bushings and cushioned with small rubber blocks so the skis can rotate inline with the frame. This is also a fairly heavy bike weighing in at around 25 pounds and designed for hard riding and a strong arm for hoisting it off the snow for chairlift rides.|
